To family & friends,
After reading of your loss, I felt like I knew Stephanie.
If it can be said about an obituary, it was one the nicest ones I have read and a memorable one at that.
My condolences go out to all of you.

I’m so sorry for your loss. “May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and gave everlasting comfort and good hope by means of undeserved kindness, comfort your hearts and make you firm.”—2 Thess. 2:16, 17. There is a beautiful hope for the future and God reassures us of this hope at John 5:28, 29 which says that “do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life…”

I'm very thankful and grateful to have known Stephanie. We were interns together at the Child and Family Guidance Center and afterwards I rented office space from Stephanie and Sam when they started Key Therapy in Monroe. I can't express how thankful I am to Stephanie for her encouragement and guidance in helping me get started with private practice. Her positivity, optimism, and reassurance are trademarks of her character which she used to help so many people, myself included.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible (Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29). Those who are raised to life on a restored paradise earth will have the prospect of never again being subjected to misery, sickness, and death (Revelation 21:4). These and other comforting Bible verses and thoughts can be found at jw.org.

Our deepest condolences to the family of this truly wonderful being. In the much too brief time I was able to know Steph, I was touched by her immediate and generous warmth, kindness, bravery, and life affirming energy. She seemed to greet everyone as family. I am thankful for the time we spent together in her home doing water areobics, energy work, meditation, and gatherings with friends full of laughter and stories. I am grateful to the universe for bringing an angel into my life. She meant so much to so many. Rest In Peace

I worked with Stephanie at Freelance Cafe in Piermont in 1990. She was a cousin of the Kellys so among the staff there were some who were sure she wouldn’t want (or need) to work as hard as the rest of us. But every day she proved to be the opposite. I don’t ever recall her not being bubbly and hardworking. She smiled widely and effortlessly- she was a genuine and lovely person, who also loved to tease and could be very funny. A short time later, I heard she was working at the Grand Hyatt in NY. I was also working in the city so I stopped in and she gave me a tour of the hotel and what she did, all the while introducing me to various people who lit up with a smile when they saw her. she seemed so happy there and so well liked by her co-workers, we were going to grab a bite to eat but she was just too busy so I took a rain check. And life went on and we lost touch. I only knew her a very short time but I can recall her laugh, her meticulous and slender hands! And of course her good natured optimism all these many years later. She was a very bright spark and I hope good memories of her will bring comfort and strength to her family at this terrible time. I am so very sorry for your loss.
