Marlene Saydah, age 69 of Easton, Connecticut, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 surrounded by her family. Born and raised in San Francisco, California, daughter of the late Harry and Eleanor Weiniger Fishtrom, Marlene left at age 19 to pursue her love affair with the northeast where she spent most of her life. She worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines for over 30 years until her retirement. Following this, her "Favorite Job" was caring for her grandchildren. Marlene loved quilting, gardening, cooking, traveling and going to musicals. A loving mother, grandmother and best friend, Marlene is described by those who knew and loved her as one-of-a-kind and her passing has left a hole in many hearts. Marlene is survived by her daughters, Nikki Hunter and her son-in-law Michael of Ocala, Florida and Lauren Saydah and son-in-law Gregory Muller of Easton, Connecticut. She leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Layla and Jordan Hunter and Elara, Remington, Marseilles and Solene Muller as well as a brother Gary Fishtrom and his wife Susie of San Francisco. As were Marlene's wishes there will be no funeral services. Contributions may be made to Be the Match foundation in her memory. To sign an online register, please visit www.LeskoPolkeFuneralHome.com
