Obituary of Patrick A. Tew

Patrick A. Tew, age 33, formerly of Trumbull, passed away on April 14, 2017. Pat's memory will lovingly be remembered by his soul mate, Ellen Crichton, and his little girl, Savannah; his mother, Irene Tew, of Wallingford; a brother, Norman Tew, and his wife, Alicia, of Meriden; a sister, Cheryl Tew, and her partner, Eric Bergers; niece and nephew, Brianna and Norman Tew, of Meriden; lifelong friends, Anthony, Arky, and Eddie; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles, and friends. Pat was predeceased by his father, Norman Tew, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Reva and Norman Tew, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Clara and Andrew Orosz. Born in Bridgeport, Patrick was a graduate of Trumbull High School. Wanting to follow in the footsteps of his father, Pat went to truck driving school at NETTS and worked for Scotty's Paving and Stew Leonard's and presently served as equipment manager for CSS Industries in New Haven, where he was always willing to go above and beyond. He took great pleasure in hiking, biking, weight training, and concerts; especially The Vibes at Seaside Park in Bridgeport. He loved sitting on the seawall at Seaside Park with friends goofing around. This might have been his favorite thing; goofing off to make people smile. Pat appreciated being with his friends, talking and laughing, listening to music, and enjoyed candy and gummy bears. He adored spending time with Ellen and teaching Savy to ride her bike. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center with a prayer service at 7 PM. His interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be private.
