Obituary of Robert Lozanov
Robert Stuart ( Loz ) Lozanov, age 60, of Stratford, beloved husband of Donna Hasak Lozanov, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019.
Born and raised in Bridgeport on November 18, 1958, son of the late Nathan and Beatrice Eller Lozanov, Loz was a Stratford town resident for over 30 years. He was a licensed plumber and had worked for the Roto Rooter Co. in Sales and as a camera technician. He belonged to the Loyalty Oddfellows Lodge # 58 of Fairfield. Loz could always be seen on the basketball courts and baseball, soccer and lacrosse fields following his sons games.
Next to his wife and kids he loved his motorcycle, cruising the seven seas and traveling with his family. Loz volunteered his skills for the Connecticut Special Olympics and many other organizations and for family and friends. He was always someone that you could count on when needed.
In addition to Donna, his loving wife of 34 years, he is survived by his sons Michael Lozanov ( Katie ), Matthew and Jonathan Lozanov, a brother Steven Lozanov ( Debbie ) a sister Carol Lozanov Miccio ( Jim ), father in law James Hasak, a sister in law Susan Nagy ( Jules ), brothers in law James Hasak ( Lynn ) and Christopher Hasak and several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his nieces and nephews who were his adopted children and loved very much. Loz will also be missed by his little best friend, Frankie.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 12 pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with burial to follow in Loyalty Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday from 11 am until the time of services. The Lozanov family will sit Shiva at their home on Monday, April first from 7-9 pm and Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Ct. Special Olympics or to the Smilow Cancer Center of New Haven.
