Obituary of John Rohaly

John Rohaly, age 80, of Fairfield beloved husband of the late Julianne Terebesi Rohaly passed away suddenly on Friday, April 21, 2017. Born in Hungary, John emigrated to the United States in 1956 and had lived in Fairfield for most of his life. He had worked for over 35 years for the Handy and Harmon Co. of Fairfield as a quality control inspector and later for Shaws Supermarkets until his retirement. John enjoyed gardening and caring for his home, watching sports, especially the New York Mets and liked various game shows. He is survived by his sons, John and Joseph Rohaly, both of Fairfield, sister in Hungary as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Julianne, he was predeceased by three brothers in Hungary. In accordance with John's wishes funeral services will be private in the care of the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home.
