Gregory J. Beam, age 59, of Fairfield, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019.

 

Born and raised in Bridgeport, son of the late James and Nancy Curnin Beam, Gregory was a Fairfield Town resident for most of his life. He was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, " Class of 1981 " and went on to receive his MBA from Sacred Heart University. He had worked as a Medical Technologist in Norwalk Hospital and most recently for Stamford Hospital.

 

Greg was an avid Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan. He enjoyed the outdoors while fishing or hunting and most of all he loved the times that he spent with his family and friends. A loving brother and uncle, he will be greatly missed.

 

Survivors include his brothers Jeffrey Beam of Shelton and James Beam III and his wife Barbara of Fairfield, his cherished nieces Nicole Beam of Derby, Krista DiCola and her husband Michael of Groton and Amanda Beam of Shelton and two great-nephews Joseph and Anthony DiCola.

 

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 30, from 1-4 pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with a Memorial Service at 3 pm.
