Obituary of Richard P. Gentile

Richard Patrick Gentile, age 68, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at St. Vincent's Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

Born in Bridgeport, Richard was the son of the late Raffaele and Josephine ( Magniarini ) Gentile. He attended Bullard Havens and graduated with the " Class of 1970 ". Following graduation he worked for over 30 years for Dresser Industries ( Ashcroft ). Richard was an avid bingo player at Our Lady of Grace Church. He also cherished spending time with his family, playing 500 rummy, rides down St. Mary's by The Sea, watching his Oakland Raiders and spending time with his dog Sparky.

Richard is survived by his two loving children, son Michael Gentile ( Samantha Robledo ) and daughter Ashlee Pucko ( Tony Korkodilos ) his former wife and best friend Deborah ( Gentile ) Snyder and her fiancee Andy Bykowski, father in law Robert Snyder Sr., brothers in law John Snyder ( Sandra ) and Robert Snyder, Jr.   ( Grissel ).  Siblings Ciele Lupo ( Richard ), Barbara Remetta ( Kim ), Patrick Gentile ( Susan ) as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Patricia Haines and mother in law Carole Snyder.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 30 from 4-6 pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with a prayer service at 5:30 pm.
