Obituary of Jean F Collins

Jean F. Savage Collins, age 84, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Edward J. Collins, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

Born and raised in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Stanley and Frances Roy Savage, Jean was a Milford Town resident for most of her life. Jean enjoyed gardening, baking and more than anything loved caring for her family and home. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Kaminski and her husband Steve of Milford and Patricia Savo of Shelton, her grandchildren Brian Kaminski and his wife Corrina, Andrew Kaminski and Cara Kaminski and Kevin, Eric and Marc Savo. She leaves behind her sister in law Barbara Savage of Huntington and brother in law Robert Clark, formerly of Milford as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother,  Edward Savage. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday directly at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Ave. in Devon with burial to follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center.
