What a lovely and well deserved obituary! The last time I saw Mary was at Ettie’s funeral where she cheerfully announced to me she had dementia and did not know who I was, but her smile and joyful self was very much present. I remember her though, summer picnics, Louie playing guitar, grandmas strudel, and most of all her laughter. She was a fine woman and anyone who knew her will feel the loss. Maureen Turey

I met Mary a few times while visiting my mom (Janet) who adored Mary. It made me feel better when I had to leave and drive back to NJ that the two of them would entertain each other and laugh a lot. They shared many of the same childhood memories from the old neighborhood and most importantly showed me how fun loving and cool two women can be no matter what their circumstances are.
