Obituary of Paul John Parfitt

The greatest man I know, the best father, husband, brother, uncle, grandfather & son, Paul John Parfitt died thanksgiving morning, November 28, 2019, at Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven.

Paul was a generous and loving man to all that knew him. He was an inspiration to his friends and family. His heart was always open to everyone he met. Pauls faith in God was constant and growing.

He is survived by his devoted wife Tracy, his loving children Anna (Mitchell), Zachary (Taylor), Rhoda, (Kyle) and Haydon, as well as, his cherished granddaughter Kayla. 

Paul will be reunited with his son Michael, his mother and father Dorothy and Phillip, his brother Phillip, his niece Lisa, and his dear friend Danny in heaven. Paul is famous for living each day, being fully present to the people around him . His legacy lives on in the memories of those he touched in his life. Please share a happy story of Paul and most of all remember his big smile.

Service details:

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 4th, from 4 to 8 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. His funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 5th, at 11 AM in First Church Congregational, 148 Beach Road, Fairfield, with Reverend David Spollett officiating. Military Honor will be observed immediately following the church service.
