My condences to Father's family and friends. I served as an altar boy and boy scout with Father at St. Ambrose. Father was a good man and a good priest. He loved the church and the boy scouts. Nice that my old friend Mike Melkonian posted boy scout picture from 1969. I am in that picture. Eternal rest Father ; you are a priest forever.

Father Balint was a mentor, a friend and a major influence in my formative teen years. His dedication to his vows and ability to share with young men in scouting and youth in the ministries were clearly evident as he imparted the love of God and Jesus to everyday activities. I carry his teachings and direction with me every day of my life. My sympathies to his family and those who knew him well.

I met Fr. Steve when he was at St. Ann's in Bridgeport. He was always so sweet. I often asked about him and hoped that he was doing well. May you forever R.I.P Fr. Steve.
