Obituary of Carol Elizabeth Bona

Carol Elizabeth Bona, age 72, of Easton, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2016. Born in Bridgeport on May 13, 1944, daughter of the late George and Margaret Estok Bona, Carol had been an Easton Town resident for many years. She held a Masters Degree from the University of Connecticut and later went on as an English teacher at Ludlowe High School in Fairfield until her retirement. Carol enjoyed painting, cooking and caring for her garden. Survivors include her aunt Irene Estok Pollansky of Torrington as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:30 am in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with burial to follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:30 am until the time of services.
