It's rare to have neighbors be like family, as I was truly blessed and honored to have had such an experience. Darlene, your authentic nature of kindness and helpfulness was inspiring. You truly "walked the walk". You were fiercely strong in your convictions, yet possessed a contagious and gentle smile. We shared our affinity for our faith, our animals, and spicy food! I will treasure the photos of my 4th of July party where we all wore the red rubber clown noses. I will miss you terribly, Your forever friend, Laurene Truhn :-)

Dear Raytar family..I, we, are so sorry for the loss of Darlene. I personally did not know her, but I see she was loved a great deal and will be remembered as a loving, warm and caring woman. May she always and forever more be at peace, with all of her furbabies on Rainbow Bridge, resting with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I know you are in heaven with your family and furry friends! You were a woman of strong faith, always willing to help others. You not only helped people, but you helped the homeless pets on the street find their way home. I will always remember your warm smile, childhood memories and family gatherings.
