Natalia, Stysiek & Lucyna posted a condolence
Tuesday, October 9, 2018
Auntie Natalie will be greatly missed and will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. Auntie helped look after my father Stysiek when he was a little boy. She was my fathers god mother and he thinks the world of her. He always says that Auntie Natalie is his favourite aunt and I am proud to say that I was named after her.
I have only met Auntie Natalie once at my grandma Anna’s apartment in Nowa Huta. I was very little and memories now a little foggy but I do remember and will never forget.
Through the toughest times in Poland, she send us care packages and every single item meant so much to our family. Auntie would send clothes that Nina & Oresta have outgrown and I was so proud to wear them and told all my friends they were from my Auntie in America.
My family was always grateful for her compassion, love and generosity.
I am especially grateful for her kindness to my mother Lucyna. Over the years they have kept in touch chatting over the phone and sending cards & letters and those memories my mom will cherish forever.
Dear Oresta, Nestor, Nina and your families. Our hearts are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
With love from Stysiek, Lucyna, Natalia and family in Vancouver, Canada

Dear Natalie,
RIP, you will never be forgotten for your kindness and great heart.
You always was very nice, kind and understanding to myself and my family.
I am very sad you have departed, will miss your Christmas cards and occasional phone calls.
I always recall your visit to Nowa Huta in 1970th where I first met you, Jurek and little Nina. You all were so happy and interesting in everything.
It was great when you and Jurek come to stay with us in Oxted, Surrey and then you visited us by yourself in a summer of Princess Diana death and we went to London to see the Kensington Palace etc. We had great time together.
My sincere condolences to Orysia, Nestor, Nina and your families.
Love to you all,
Kasia, Bohdan and family

To Natalie,
I am writing this in your memory after the sad news I have heard of your passing.. we may have only met a handful of times (2x in the UK and 1x in the USA)but I found you extraordinary and inspiring.18 years ago we came to stay with you in Connecticut and I was so happy to finally see the famous “aunt Natalie” whom helped my fathers family so much by sending packages full of items to Poland..all the way from the USA. I will forever remember you for your visit when your sister, my grandmother Anna passed away and you called me to tell me as where visiting her at the time, you told me not to be sad and that you would be my grandmother now.. it was so sweet, we exchanged fb comments and emails following this and onwards. Thank you for being the wonderful and caring lady everybody knew and even from a distance being so close. My regret is only not speaking more.I will remember you for your love of music concerts, Yale library, peanut butter bars (you told us not to eat many!) and your wardrobe and makeup styles , Talbot’s I recall. I’m so grateful you got to spend your last years with your family and may you RIP, I will tell my own son about the famous Natalie Cybriwsky. Condolences to your friends and family. With love always Katrina xxx
